The Kreg Accu-Cut is great for making straight, accurate, splinter-free cuts in plywood and other sheet goods. The saw sled accepts almost any circular saw, which allows you to turn your ordinary saw into a precision cutting tool. Like any circular saw guide, you can turn an ordinary circular saw into a precision edge-guided cutting tool.
When using the Kreg, the instructions are clear and easy to follow with the exception on the last step. The strength of the plastic frame components is disappointing, but I like the fact that the circular saw guide works well on small jobs, which fits my use. At the end of the day, if you are someone who doesn’t have a full-size table saw, I’ve found that this is the best possible way to make long straight rips in plywood without any issues whatsoever.
